👮♂️ Neighbourhood Policing Update – Thanet ☀️
Today our officers have been out across the district enforcing the Section 34 dispersal orders that are currently in place. These measures are designed to deter and disrupt anyone coming to Thanet to cause discomfort to those simply trying to enjoy the sunshine and everything our lovely area has to offer 🌊🏖️
📍 Broadstairs has been a particular focus today, where we’ve seen a large number of people arriving. It’s important to highlight that the vast majority are here to enjoy themselves respectfully 🙌 with everyone being spoken and being made aware of the dispersal orders and what action may be taken should anti-social behaviour occur ✅
🚨So far today, several individuals have been dispersed from the area for a variety of anti-social behaviour offences ❌ Additionally, one individual has been arrested after failing to provide their details to a police officer when required to do so 👮♂️
We know many of you have seen us out and about 👀 and we’ll continue to maintain a strong presence throughout the evening. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to speak with us and share their views – your engagement really helps us understand how this impacts the community 💬
